Dear POF Patients/Families,
I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and spirits. I am writing to share some personal news regarding my role as a Nurse Practitioner at Pediatrics of Florence. After much consideration, I have made the incredibly tough decision to leave POF in order to work closer to my home in Indiana and be able to attend my kid’s events more regularly. As mentioned, this was a very difficult decision but I feel it is best for me and my family.
It has been beyond a privilege and honor to serve as one of your POF providers and to be entrusted with your child’s care. Over the years, I have had the joy of watching many of your children grow and thrive, and I will always treasure the relationships we have built. I truly care for these kids and I hope they know how much I will miss caring for them.
My last day with Pediatrics of Florence will be January 16, 2025. I want to assure you that your child’s health and continuity of care will remain my and POF’s top priority during this transition. Pediatrics of Florence has an AMAZING team and will continue to provide the high-quality care you have come to expect from our team. If I am your child’s primary care provider, you can let us know which of my team members you would like to transition this title to. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this transition, please contact the office and we will work to make this transition as smooth as possible for you and your child/children.
I deeply appreciate your trust and support throughout my 16 years at Pediatrics of Florence. While it is extremely difficult to say goodbye, I am trying to face this change with positivity and hope for the future. I can not say thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your lives and your child’s health journey. I can not say in words how much these kids mean to me and how I genuinely wish the best for all of them.
Wishing you and your families all the best and please know how much I have adored taking care of my POF families.
Sincerely,
Jessica Ester, APRN

About Pediatrics of Florence
We believe that children are more than just “little adults.” They have unique personalities, challenges, and life circumstances and we have made every effort to make our offices and care as “kid friendly” as possible. We have an aquatic theme in the waiting rooms (separated for sick and well children) as well as themed examination rooms. All of our physicians are Board Certified Pediatricians and members of the American Academy of Pediatrics and our nurse practitioners are all licensed Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and are available to see both well and sick children.
