What is Next MD?
We are introducing a new patient portal to Pediatrics of Florence called Next MD. Some of you may already be familiar with it and use it in your own physicians’ office. If you are not familiar, let me give you a little introduction to what Next MD is all about. It is similar to a student portal that you may use through your child’s school to access grades but now you can use Next MD to communicate with our office.
Next MD Benefits
Next MD will allow you to enter the world of Pediatrics of Florence through a patient portal to request things of our office without having to ever pick up a phone. After signing up your child for the patient portal you will be able to request Immunization certificates, school or sports physical forms and request medication refills. You will also be able to contact someone in our office with a billing question or a problem/question regarding your account or insurance. Unfortunately, we will not be able to answer medical questions through the patient portal because it can not be constantly monitored.
